The annual group family camp took place again at Ferry Meadows. We took a selection of canoes and sailing boats for the weekend.

We camped as family units and whilst the water activities were supervised by the qualified leaders in the group, families were free to explore the park at their leisure. It was a brilliant weekend, both weather wise and activity wise.

We enjoyed a communal BBQ on Saturday night when the whole camp came together to eat and socialise. Next morning, most of the camp set off on the famous 'River Trip'.

Ferry Meadows is only a small part of Nene Park. It has a water sports centre, cafe, showers and a shop. More details about Nene Park , including Ferry Meadows can be found here.
