Explorer scouts are designed to be run at a district level but we have a thriving unit based here in Radcliffe on Trent and we are proud to have them as part of our group. The old Venture Scouts were replaced by Explorers and Networks in the 1990s. Read more on Explorer Scouts>> |

Shooting activity takes place on Friday 24th February. Meet at scout hall at 6.30. The cost is £5.00 each and you must return your permission form to take part. We are collecting Sainsburys school vouchers so please save any you can, we might get a few new sports bits from the collection. |
Explorer Scouts wear a beige shirt or blouse with a group scarf, and navy blue activity trousers or skirt with a Scout belt. They can wear an Explorer Belt and buckle if this has been awarded. |

As with all other sections Explorer Scouts can achieve a variety of badges. The Explorer programme consists of a range of activities, events and experiences built around six Programme Zones. |
