Hall Hire

Scouting has always had a community spirit. Remember the Bob-a-job week?
The hall is large and expensive to upkeep. It is used for scouting only on evenings and a few weekends. We are very willing to hire the hall to reponsible bodies or persons.

The areas shown below as yellow are those which could be hired. The hall is cleaned regularly and heating provided. We have licence for entertainment. Fire, electrical and emergency lighting certificates are current.

The main rooms are detailed below but the scout hall also offers a disabled entrance, a concrete area for bikes and pram storage and a small grassy garden.

Downstairs there are male and female toilets alongside a cloakroom.

Following are details of the rooms.:

Main Hall 12m x 10m		Kitchen
Matt varnished wooden floor, light room and free of obvious dangers.		Kitchen is available for hirers use but not suitable for mass catering.
Activities Room 5.5m x 5.5m.		Scouters room. 4m x 5m.
Rough carpet floor. For activities to match?		Carpeted and suggested use for assembly and isolated activity.

We have about a 100 chairs and 11 tables. Tressel tables can be hired by arrangement and other equipment could be loaned for a small donation.

Terms are "leave as found" and users should (or if long term lease MUST) take out insurance. Neither the 1st Radcliffe on Trent Scout Group nor the Scout Association can accept liability for activities on the premises.
